The Kiwanis Club of Sierra Vista sponsors three scholarships that are offered to high school seniors graduating each year from either the public school, charter, private and home schooled school systems in Sierra Vista. The scholarships are named in honor of outstanding Kiwanians: Lou Dietz Memorial, Carl Krueger Memorial and John O. Fiscus Career and Technical Education scholarships. The scholarships are awarded on considerations of academic success, financial need and community service. They are currently valued at $1,000 each and distributed with equally divided payments over the two semesters of enrollment at post secondary educational levels. Applications are available each fall through the school administrative offices or by request through the Kiwanis Club of Sierra Vista and are awarded in May of the following year.
